Twitter Update: IOS App For One-Handed Scrolling
Recently, Twitter came up with its newly redesigned iOS application for those who use their device one-handed. The first thing they changed is, the compose button has shifted to the bottom right side of the application and it continuously floats as the end user scrolls through their Twitter timeline. It simply means that the compose button is always visible and available for the users.
As on Nov 01, 2018 the support team revealed this Latest Twitter update at sharp 1:41 AM.

Publish more than one media in one Tweet
You guys will be happy to hear that the latest Twitter update has expanded the number of media tweeted with a single tweet. Now, an end user will be able to add 4 pictures, 1 link and one video with a single Tweet through the application.
So, users do not need to worry about shooting different Tweets. For different pictures, they can merge them in a single tweet.
More Spam Reporting Options
In the new app, Twiter has also come up with more spam reporting options. Now if you report a Tweet for a spam then Twitter will give you five choices.
- The account tweeting this is fake.
- Includes a link to a malicious, or phishing site.
- The hashtags included seemingly unrelated
- Uses the reply function to spam
- It’s something else
On 31st Oct 2018 at 10:16 PM Twitter safety Tweeted “ Activity that attempts to manipulate or disrupt Twitter’s service is not allowed. We remove this when we see it. Now, you can define what sort of spam you’re seeing when you report, including fake accounts.”
Toggle Between Latest Tweets and Top Tweets
The last but not least update by the Twitter in it’s redesigned iOS app for one-handed scrolling is the way to toggle between latest Tweets and top Tweets. Twitter launched this on a trial basis for a few users and those who are using this trial feature they will see a new icon on the very top left corner of the iOS application.
Twitter also Tweeted about this feature on 1 Nov 2018 at 03:57 AM. “often, you may want to watch the latest Tweets, first. We are finding ways to make it easier to switch your timeline between the latest and top Tweets. Starting today, a few of you will see this test on iOS.”
